Taking their future into their hands – new GFM Young Leaders pave the way for change.

This week we have launched GFM Young Leaders!

42 pupils from across the Trust have joined together to be a voice for change in helping to improve school life.

In their first training session hosted at Gomer Junior, pupils from Bay House, Brune Park, Gomer Junior and Rowner Junior openly shared their experiences, learning about how quality of education is tested and what it means to them to improve the GFM.

Next week, the Young Leaders will join members of Schools’ Executive at the Quality of Education Conference.

The Young Leaders will have the opportunity to ask school leaders questions about why they make decisions and what changes they would like to see.

We are already impressed with our pupils’ honesty and enthusiasm!
