At Brune Park we have been delighted to celebrate excellent attendance throughout this week. Students with 100% attendance are being celebrated in each House assembly and we are delighted to report that over 500 students in the school have achieved 96% attendance.
We are also rewarding those students who have severe medical conditions but despite this still maintain a high attendance. These brilliant achievements deserve the recognition and reward students are having this week.
Good attendance is linked to positive progress and learning and students feeling secure and happy in school – as is good punctuality. Next academic year we will be sharply focusing on supporting our students have excellent attendance and punctuality.
Some students are disappointed not to be part of the reward process this week – this is because their attendance is not satisfactory, and we look forward to helping them to improve on this in the next academic year.
We hope our ‘every school day counts’ and ‘every minute at school matters’ papers are helpful for your conversations with your son and daughter at home.
