October is Black History Month and at the GFM, we feel it is important our community focuses and reflects on the achievements of influential Black figures through history and into the present day.
The library team has created a display of books celebrating black authors and characters.
Year 7 are reading Ghost Boys by Jewell Parker Rhodes, Year 8 are reading Refugee Boy by Benjamin Zephaniah and Year 9 are reading Noughts & Crosses by Malorie Blackman.
