What makes a villain?

This week, Year 7 students have been looking at what makes a villain.

The students have been inspired to design their own wanted posters of either Captain Hook or another fictional villain.

Pastoral & Academic Learning Support (PALS) Team Leader, Emma Perrio, said: “The students have done a marvellous job of bringing their villains to life. This follows on from the ‘villains’ work they have completed in their English lessons earlier this year.”

Ms Perrio added: “We try to work with as many Year 7 students as we can on either English or Maths to boost their existing subject skills and increase their confidence. We use Growth Mindset techniques to boost confidence in the sessions and encourage their resilience in all aspects of their schooling.”
