How to get to Brune Park

Address: 1 Military Road, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 3BU

We encourage our visitors, students and parents to use sustainable active transport where possible.

Walking to Brune Park

This map produced by My Journey Hampshire give you an idea of how long it takes to walk to Brune Park.

Cycling to Brune Park

On site we have plenty of bike sheds that visitors are welcome to use and are securely locked during the day. Students also have a choice of multiple bike sheds which are locked during the day and have CCTV coverage. However, we do ask that students lock their bikes up for an extra safety precaution. Bikes should not be left on the railings and fences outside of the bike sheds.

This map from My Journey Hampshire again gives advice on the best ways to cycle to Brune Park.

Getting here by bus:

There is not a bus stop directly outside the Brune Park main gates, but there are a number of bus routes close by. From Fareham, you can use the E1 or E2 route run by first buses.

Getting here by car:

Please note that we only have 6 visitor parking spaces. Military Road can be really busy before and after school and we have many students crossing the road. We would appreciate it if you are able to park further away and encourage your child to “park and stride”.

If you are coming from the motorway, Portsmouth side, please leave at junction 11 and then follow the A27 into Fareham, before taking the Gosport Road and then Fareham Road.

If you are coming from the Southampton direction, you can follow the instructions above for junction 11 or come off at junction 10 and use the by pass though Fareham and Stubbington.

We are aiming for our Gold Modeshift stars award this year so would appreciate any support in reducing car usage or car sharing.

Rewards for active travel and sustainable travel

We are working with My Journey Hampshire, Sustrans and Modeshift to help improve our journeys to school and therefore improve our contributions to climate change. Brune Park has already achieved the Bronze stars award for our efforts towards active travel.
