Congratulations to the Year 10 boys football team who won the semi final of the district cup last week.
A fantastic win against Crofton, 4-0.

Callum and Jack have written the following match report:
Goal 1 – Charlie Lowery goes long with the goal kick and it takes a deflection of the Crofton defender and Harley Taylor sees himself through on goal and calmly slotted it into the corner of the net to make it 1-0 to Brune Park.
Goal 2 – Brune Park started to dominate the game winning possession back in the opposition half on a regular basis, Jack Bagnell executed a pinpoint pass across the pitch cutting the defensive line open putting Charlie Hanlon in behind the opposition defence. Crofton made several good recovery runs but Charlie played a one two with Harley Taylor and Charlie took it round the goalkeeper to slot it into the top right of the goal from a tight angle.
Goal 3 – Brune Park were on the defence with the opposition having a corner. Charlie Hanlon clears the ball up to the half way line at which point Jack drives with the ball with Callum Izzard to his left in open space Jack then squares the ball taking two defenders out of the game to Callum who does a nice finish near post with his left foot.
Goal 4 – From being on the back foot again this time Jay Daughtrey clears the ball to half way with Tommy White picking the ball up and doing a nice link up play with Jack Bagnell to play through their defence who couldn’t cope. Tommy then tidily slots it past to make it 4-0 to Brune Park.
